We are holding online tournaments!

Online tournaments for K-12th graders in Oregon and Clark County, Washington, are being held on the Lichess.org chess platform. These are free tournaments and will be held every Monday and Friday at 4:00 PM through March. Join the fun!

To participate, players must get a lichess username at lichess.org. They must then ask to join the https://lichess.org/team/chess-for-success-oregon-2021-tournaments Team. Approval to join requires an email to richard@chessforsuccess.org with the player’s username, name, grade level, school name, and a personal valid email address for tournament notifications. Student email addresses will not be deliverable!
The announcement for each tournament will be sent to the Team members on either Wednesday or Saturday. Last minute requests will be handled until 3:30 on the tournament days. After that time, no further entries will be accepted. Please be ready to play a few minutes before the 4:00 start time.
