CFS Game Changer 2023

Chess for Success is a youth wellness program that works to provide the youth of all backgrounds and abilities with a holistic framework for success in school and life. We use chess instruction and play to improve the academic, social, and personal skills of school-aged children. Our Game Changer Expo is our annual, week-long exhibition where we invite the community into our story and allow them to see and hear how we impact Oregon and SW Washington youth. We host several events throughout the week, bringing together supporters, families, and students from our programs. We invite our clubs to compete in a regional cup, where teams participate in activities that reflect our values of focus, friendship, and fun. Guests will also get the chance to engage with the teams. In addition, the teams will be given time to discuss how their programs have strengthened collaborations, connections, and confidence within their communities.
